DR. DAVID OMACHONU OBAJE

Provost

Dr. David Omachonu Obaje was born on October 20, 1965, in Kogi State. He had his Primary Education at Ansarudeen Primary School, Jos, Plateau State, his Secondary Education at St Joseph College, Vom, Plateau State, after which he proceeded to Federal Polytechnic, Idah for his Nationa; Diploma in Science Laboratory Technology and the University of Jos for his Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine specializing in Surgery. He had his PostGraduate Diploma in Family Medicine at the National Postgraduate Medical College, Ijanikin, Lagos, and Masters in Public Health from the same School. He also bagged a Master’s Degree in Human Reproductive Technology from Creighton University of Medicine, Nebraska, USA, and another Post Graduate Certificate as a Consultant in Fertility Care from Pope Paul VI Institute of Human Reproduction, Omaha, USA.

His working experience has seen him through the following institutions and establishments: General Hospital, Panshin, Plateau State, Ijebu-Ode Local Government Council, Alatishe Clinic, Ijebu-Ode, Oworu Memorial Hospital Ijebu-Ode, Eruobodo Hospital Ijebu-Ode, and Chief Medical Director, Lafia Kowa Specialist Hospital Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State; and Proprietor of Kowa International College of Health Technology, Ijebu-Ode.

He is a member of the following professional Associations: Nigeria Medical Association, Ogun State Chapter; Association of General and Private Medical Practitioners, Ogun State where he has risen to the post of the President; Direct Member of the World Association of Family Physicians (WONCA); International member of the Royal College of General Practitioners; Member of the Catholic Medical Association of Nigeria.

Dr. David Obaje is also involved with the following socio-cultural and religious associations: Treasurer of the Igala Progressive Association of Ijebuland; Member of the Igala Community Development Association of Ogun State; and Otunba Bobagbimo of Imobi Kingdom, Ijebuland; Patron of the Political Science Students Association, TASUED, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State; Patron, Mathematics Students Association of TASUED, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State; Patron, Kowa House, Muslim Comprehensive Primary School, Ijebu-Ode; and a Chief Superintendence of Police (CSP).

In the Church, he is a member of St Anthony Catholic Church, Ejinrin Road, Ijebu-Ode where he is the President of the Catholic Men Organization (CMO); a Knight of the Order of St Mulumba; Patron of the National association of Catholic Coppers, Ijebu-Ode; and Member Christ the King Society, Catholic Diocese of Ijebu-Ode;

As for Awards and Honors, he has the following to his credit: Life Member, University of Jos Medical Students Association; Distinguished Merit Award of Omoluwabi, C.M.O, Ijebu-Ode Diocese; Fellow, Association of General and Private Medical Practitioners; and the Distinguished Medical Practioner Award.
Dr. Obaje is happily married to Mrs. Patricia T. Obaje and they are blessed with four lovely children. He enjoys swimming, traveling, politics, and listening to music.

She was born on the 21st of November to the family of late Chief Thomas Abusomwa in Edo state, Nigeria. Attended Esoe Primary School Orogbo and St. Maria-Goretti Girls Grammer school, Benin city and then proceeded to Tai Solarin College of Education for NCE in social studies. She later proceeded to Olabisi Onabanjo University Ago-iwoye in Ogun state where she bagged Bachelor in Education in Social Studies.

She has a post-graduate diploma in infertility care and Creighton modeling natural family planning from Pope John Paul VI institute of human reproduction in Omaha USA. Mrs. Patricia Obaje is a certified fertility care practitioner of Nigeria. Mrs. Patricia Obaje is a seasoned teacher and works with the Ogun State Ministry of Education as a teacher. Mrs. Patricia Obaje is the M.D and co-proprietress and acting registrar of Kowa college of science and health technology, Ijebu-ode Ogun state.

Membership Association
She is a Lady of the Knight of St. Mulumba Nigeria, Member of Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary, Member of the catholic progressive sister of St. Anthony, Ejirin road, She is one of the Ambassador’s Missionary of Saint Paul (AMSP), Member of the charismatic Renewal group of Nigeria & Catholic women organization.
She is one of the marriage instructors of St. Anthony Catholic Church.
Member of the Harvester society of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Ejirin Road and a chief of His Royal Highness of Oni itasin of the Imobi Kingdom, Ogun state.

Mrs. Patricia Tina is happily married to her heartthrob Dr. Sir, Otunba David O. Obaje and she is blessed with children
